My gorgeous aunt who is my second mother (I lost my mom this past March), my best friend and a wonderful travel companion died yesterday morning at her home
I keep falling apart. I am supposed to host dinner for 16 on Christmas Day as I usually do and can't seem to keep it together. Please send prayers my way. I need them badly!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'll keep you in my prayers. That's never an easy thing to go through, especially at this time of year. Stay strong. <3

I am sorry. It's difficult to keep things in focus when you're in the middle of grieving. For you to tackle 16 people for Christmas is a huge uundertaking, much less when your hurting. Don't forget to ask for help, people want to be helpful but don't want you to feel like they're intruding. Most of all don't feel like you need to always be strong, take time (even for a few moments) for your mental health. I will keep you in my prayers!

You definitely have my sympathy as find it so hard to have this burden during a time when we are gathering and celebrating, yet maybe all the todo will help strengthen you - HE will definitely help. Don't be afraid to grieve as believe it helps you rather allowing it to weigh you down too much. Just take one day at a time and try to focus on all your wonderful memories of both of these dear ladies who were so important in your life!! Wish there were an easy fix but the process just seems to take a lot of time.

Thank you so much, all of you! Had to step back and away a few times, but made it through. I continue to pray for strength and guidance as I stumble forward into what I hope is a bright and beautiful New Year. My Aunt's church service was absolutely beautiful on Christmas Eve and the graveside part was touching, yet heart warming.

Again, my thanks for all the prayers for strength.

Not sure how I would have made it through Christmas without all of you. I've come to think of each and every one of you as very dear friends, partners in music and partners in prayer!
