I think WAW is a great song for radio. As much as I love GIG, I've never quite been able to picture it as a radio single. Whereas I feel like WAW has a stronger hook, especially in the chorus, that people could grab onto more easily, while still having emotional and relatable lyrics like GIG also does.

I feel the exact same way about GIG. I absolutely love it, and it's one of my favorites on the album, but I don't see it as single material at all, for some reason.

That said, I'm not sure if I see WAW as single material, either. I love it, but it lacks a hook or memorable melody for me, much like SWISLY.

Carrie hasn't released a ballad yet (I consider SYA more of a midtempo, tbh). I'm not sure what would work best, though.

But there are basically 2 ballads to choose from, since we know FC won't be a single, and I'd say between GIG and WAW, the former has a better chance of becoming a single.

Then again, I don't think ANYBODY saw SYA coming as a single, so they might surprise us again.

If I had my way, this would be the single order:

1. Good Girl
2. Two Black Cadilacs
3. Blown Away
4. Do You Think About Me
5. Wine After Whiskey

Alternates: One Way Ticket or GIG

I don't think there will be a 5th single. The tour is wrapped up.

Which stinks to me because so many good ones were left uncharted. This happens every album! I suppose we should be grateful for the massive hit 'Blown Away' became. It will probably be THE song when we look back.

After reading your comments and the ONLY 2 options on the poll, I feel like I'm on my own here, but I'm going to say it anyway..... For me the next single should be ONE WAY TICKET, I see this song as a huge summer anthem, like LBT's "Pontoon" or FGL' s "Cruise", I really do!!! It's also something very new for Carrie, fun, relax, light... imagine the video, something totally different that could potentially bring fans from other genres. I love it!

So in my heart I'm wishing SYA go faster to the top so OWT can be release soon! But hey, in every Carrie CD I have a song that I see as a single, but never made it (that's why I', not holding my breath).

If the options are indeed the 2 on the poll DEFINITELY "Wine After Whiskey" is the way to go, this song is waaayyy better the DYTAM. I see WAW as more mature, more Carrie, more dramatic.... while DYTAM is childish on more Taylor-ish (Don't hate me for saying that)

This album should have many singles out, as long as there is no other album in sight, so I'm really hoping for 6: GG - BW - TBC - SYA - OWT - WAW, but this album is so good that it can hold even 8 singles easily, in this case GIG a CGAS should be considered!

For those with knowledge in this industry and how it works with singles and stuff like that here a few questions: Is this possible to have 6 or more singles from the same album? I know Shania Twain did it at some point, but in todays market is that a good idea? Dis anyone did it recently?

^^Do you guys think that we'll get a new album by May 2014, or is it unlikely?

If they go 6 singles deep this era then I want both DYTAM and WAW lol. But then I also want LLA and Cupid, so I'm torn lol.

I think a new album by May 2014 is highly unlikely. Carrie will probably be focusing mostly on TSOM this fall, and not really starting the new album until after the holidays (aka January). I think the earliest we'll see the next album is fall 2014 (Oct or Nov).

"Do You Think About Me" followed by "Wine After Whiskey". "Do You Think About Me" is my second favorite off of the album after "Blown Away".

The good thing about Carrie saying she's not ready for kids yet is we will surely get a new album in the next two years. I was afraid with her selling the house and wrapping the tour, now would be the time to settle down and have a baby. But from what I last read, I think in April, she didn't sound at all ready.

IF, and it's a big if, there is another single, they should do something fun. I thought Leave Love Alone would for sure be released as many times as she performed it.

Agree!! One Way Ticket can be released because the summer is just starting in USA, I think! lol (In my country is winter).

And can be a good promotion for the DVD because OWT was a highlight of the Blown Away Tour!

By the time SYA peaks it'll be sometime in August so the summer would basically be over before OWT is even close to peaking and that is assuming they release the next single directly after SYA peaks. I would have been fine with OWT as a summer single but now that its a little late in the game there are so many other options that I'd rather see Carrie's team choose over OWT.

I dont think that OWT peaking when the summer is over will be a problem, I mean LBT sang Pontoon in the CMAs in NOVEMBER so... lol Pontoon peaked in September 15, so OWT maybe peak sometime in October, is not that far away!

The next single likely won't be released until early September, since SYA is expected to peak around mid-August. So if it were OWT, it'd be peaking around Christmas. Not really the appropriate time of year for that song. haha. I think if they wanted to release OWT, they would have done it as single #4. I think its ship has sailed by this point. ;) If we get a fifth single, I think any of these could work well: DYTAM, WAW, LLA, Cupid or even GIG.

I want a poll for the fifth single like they do with Carnival Ride fifth single and I Told You So won.
