as far as I know only Carrie's voice will be on the song with MWS playing piano so it could be seen as a Carrie song

I completely missed that detail somehow. Is the whole album that way or just All Is Well? I wonder why on earth he isn't singing on a song(s) on his album. That seems so random to me, when he is a singer. It's not like he is just an instrumentalist like Kenny G or something, lol.

Mainstream radio have been very good to Carrie, and her relationship with them is pretty important. If she is publicly debuting a new song at the Global Citizen concert, I think it would a be a significant courtesy for radio to have it simultaneously (if not ahead of the public performance). I realize they may be concerned about leaks - but I think that that may prove the wiser course than not giving it to radio for a couple of days (if indeed that is the plan), especially as members of the public are certain to record any new song and put it on the internet within a hour or so.

Carrie being publicly associated with four songs in succession, "See You Again", "Keep Us Safe", "Somethin' Bad", "All Is Well" - all having, in their own way, a definite prevailing "General Music" feel - would be tactically questionable. I think Carrie would see the need to break that pattern, and release something that would reallyl set alight the format she releases to and bases her career on. For that reason (if no other) I'd be surprised if she goes straight into "All Is Well".

If the tweet was accurate, I think it would be likely to be something new, something striking and something probably indicative of the next album, rather than a collaboration or a Christmas song.

(But, then, I'm used to being wrong, lol)

I bet Carrie's team or the radio station had him pull the tweet. I wonder if this was meant for surprise release

I definitely think its new solo music. That tweet did not relate to anything but brand new Carrie single.

And that also means that there could also be a great xmas song on Christmas Stations!!
