Good for you. Obviously I caved because the odds of me seeing it anytime soon are astronomical.

I might have shed a few tears during a few emotional moments. Who can resist it when two men sing to their newborn children? Or when friends and children die? The second act is petty much guaranteed to break you a few times near the end. I'm guessing you've listened to the soundtrack. *curls up and.... un deux trois quatre cinq six sept huit neuf*

Kubo and the Two Strings. Absolutely beautiful, but it lost itself a bit in the second half. The quest felt unfinished to me because the villain was just there; he was a let down. But maybe it was the morale of the story. Your destination is not the most important thing, how you get there is. And Kubo's journey was truly fun and grand. Still I wish there were more bonding moments between Kubo, the monkey and the beetle. There seemed to be not enough of them to me.

What put me off in the Manchester by the sea trailer was the generic song playing over the end of it. Total mood-killer but I liked what I saw in terms of the scenes.

A United Kingdom looks really good. I liked how the trailer was cut. The real story behind it is amazing.

Thanks for all the trailers. A United Kingdom looks good. I didn't understand Planetarium lol

Is that makeup or Michelle Williams looks that old?

I have a Game of Thrones question. I'm on Season 3. How long it is supposed to be since everything started? Because obviously the kids have aged (at least 3 years I guess) and you can see it perfectly in Sansa and Brent, but in the story it hasn't been that long, right?

In the books the end of book one to the end of book three is supposed to be a year, but in the show the kids are obviously growing too fast to keep with that timeline. So I guess one year = one season is as good a timeline as any, lol. The timeline in season six gets really screwy.

In season 3 when Tyrion asks Sansa her age she says 14. I believe she told Cersei she was 13 in the very first episode. Did the entire war of the five kings begin and end within a year in the books? The show's timeline is really messed up. But maybe it's 2 years rather than 3 from the show's first episode to the end of season 3.

So I read that Nicole Kidman is getting Oscar buzz again for her new film Lion, and Amy Adams is getting buzz for Nocturnal Animals. I can't wait to see both.

And it is a one book per season? Yeah that is the problem with having kids as main cast, I still remember Lost and how Walt went from being a kid to a man and it has been just like 40 days on the island lol. So they made him dissapear. Can't see that happening here hahah.

^The biggest problems are Bran and Rickon because they've shot up so much, lol.

I read a timeline online that laid out the events of the first three books and it was about a year and a half (I don't know how the people came up with it all but it made sense, lol). But yes, Sansa's age would indeed be a good indication. And she does tell Cersei she's 13 in season one.

I can't wait for Nocturnal Animals, either. I loved A Single Man. So. Much.

^ Season 3 is a tiny bit more than half the 3rd book.

Nocturnal Animals and Planetarium are both set to premiere in Venice. So I would think that Amy Adams' Oscar buzz is more of a 'might she' than 'she should'. There are high expectations for Nocturnal Animals because Tom Ford's first film 'A Single Man' is supposedly very good.

The Planetarium trailer is half in French without subs so... yeah.

Is that the A Single Man with Colin Firth? Because I saw that around the same time as The King Speech and it was very, very good. I didn't know Tom Ford was the director.

Seriously what happened to Colin Firth and Jean Dujardin's careers? I know Firth has Kingsman and was in a Woody Allen film at some point but I feel like he's not getting the sort of roles he should. I haven't seen Dujardin since his small part in WoWS

^Best Actor is the new Best Actress?! They curse is real. Watch out, Leo!

For real, though. Firth has had nothing but flops. Is he going to be in the new Bridget Jones? That could be a hit, at least. And Dujardin? Nobody knows.
