Was already sad yesterday about DL missing the #1..... Now I'm even sadder about this, and this time is worse because I'm worried about her.

This makes me worried. I don't want her to experience the backlash if she'll indeed be performing. Look at what happened to Jennifer Holliday.
I know, it makes me sad. I didn't like either of them also, but I do hope the very best for Trump because he's our president. If he does well, so do we. You don't have to like him, but respect the office, and the traditions, and others' opinions for that matter, that's probably the most important part. I dread going on the internet or watching the news Friday, it will all be so sensationalized, unbearable.

I feel like Trump's team would be shouting from the high heavens if this were true. They're itching to have someone notable at the inauguration. But my faves, including Carrie, should stay well away. Since she is in NYC though, she should come join us in our march on Saturday, lol. Or she can perform at Kamala Harris's inauguration in 4 years.

Seriously, guys, the point is not even Trump anymore... The point is that the Media and virtually the world is against this President. It could be any other person that the media/world doesn't like, but it happens to be him.
So, the media and the world won't forgive whoever supports the President, sadly. Whoever performs there will have their career ended. And maybe forever.

Agree. I hate seeing what the media and protestors will do and say on Friday. They are making everything so negative and unbearable. I just want our country to be in peace and try to unite.
The funniest (or perhaps coolest) thing I read today was that literally 100,000 Bikers for Trump are riding their Harleys to the inauguration to support him. Now THAT is worth watching if you ask me. haha
If any protestors messes with Trump, those Bikers for Trump will not be too happy about that. hehe
It is going to be entertaining for sure.

Agree. The country has gone bat **** crazy. Whatever happened to a peaceful transition? In my life, many Presidents have won that I did not like or support, but I always vowed to give them a chance and try to accept the results. I would never disrespect our President like this no matter who won.
I have never seen such pure hate and disrespect in my life by the media. They need to get a grip and stop egging people on. Someone is going to get hurt at some point-- and it will be the media's fault in my opinion for their constant hate/negativity. It is almost like they are encouraging protestors and violence.
