Absolutely loved it! Carrie and the sets are gorgeous , and she sounds awesome.
Carole makes an appearance with a little old footage of Carrie singing ,and some of Christmas last year with the kids.

Just finished watching the special and y’all it’s AMAZING, from her wardrobe to the orchestra to her voice. She slayed SITW, I loved how her wardrobe reflect Christmas from the red dress with the robe representing the three kings to the white dress that represented the Angel, to the blue dress at the beginning that represents the night sky, etc. I’m tempted to rewatch it right now but know that I shouldn’t since it’s past 4 am and I have to leave for work by 10 am and I should probably get some sleep.

O Holy Night was flawless. She didn't even seem like she tried on the high note lol. I still find her mic distance crazy, even after all these years lol.

The special was just special! SITW was such a pleasant surprise and a great closer!

THIS WOMAN LOVES JESUS, you can see it in her performance. The Isaiah part was emotional. I just loved it and we finally got to see Jake’s full face.

So you watched the special already? Wow,looks like it sounds amazing & looks amazing too.Can’t wait to watch it!!

Just finished watching it and its awesome.. the extras with Isaiah singing and seeing family time at Christmas were great.... We got to see both of their faces!
O Holy Night is just incredible, I'm actually a little surprised she didn't end with that song as it is the show stopper on the album.

Outfits were awesome and as always she looked awesome!

I just watched the special and I’m actually sadly disappointed. She looks flawless and sounds incredible... but I guess I was just expecting a bit more of an actual Christmas special featuring more stories from her childhood, more home videos... Not just a straight forward Christmas concert that even ended with a song that’s not even a Christmas song... I would have rather them scratched JTTW and SITW, have the finale be something like OHN, and then cutting those two songs would’ve provided an extra 7 - 8 minutes dedicated to fun Christmas stories, videos, comedy, etc...

I’ll still go back and watch it because as a concert, it was amazing. I was just hoping for a bit more of an actual special since we haven’t had one from her in many, many years. But maybe they were wanting to do that but 2020 messed plans up.. who knows? LOL. It’s still great... just not what I was expecting,

Forgot to add, I love Carries reaction when she sings these songs.. On Away in the Manger when she sings asleep in the hay she's looking down... on Mary Did You Know when she sings "you kiss the face of God" she looks up... Love those little things!

I mean, it was stated by Carrie herself the special wasn't about comedic bits or big production. It was described as a concert streaming special.
