Ghost Story chart updates

Cole is losing steam, and should start falling, Mitchell is continuing to fall, and if they slow down Tyler, that can get Carrie into #4. And a win for women, would be 2 of the Top 4 songs, being led by Woman!!!!!
Cole unfortunately doesn’t have his push week until next week or the week after. Unfortunately he won’t be going anywhere. Combs will start dropping after this week though, but I doubt it’ll be enough for GS to pass.

We’re looking at a #5 Mediabase peak if they can get her ahead of 5 foot 9 and probably a 6-7 Billboard peak.

This really doesn’t feel like a push at all. Maybe that’s next week? Maybe they’re not even doing one

On a happier front, Cole Swindell and Combs are battling it out for #1 on BB this week. If Cole comes out on top (right now he has the edge) Comb’s BB streak of 14 #1 hits will be broken.
Just thought I’d share since I know how many in here get irritated over radios Luke Combs obsession lol.

They’ll just let him go #1 the next week so his streak will remain.

Pretty sure this was the final week. His label tried maxing last week to get it and still got blocked so are asking for another week of max spins this week, but his gains haven’t been enough to keep up with Coles (whose push week doesn’t start for another two weeks.) There’s a good chance the streak will in fact be broken.

...Maybe the label is waiting for this to play out, and if it happens as you suggest, as both songs begin to fall they start a more aggressive push? Having two songs begin to drop simultanteously would be nice.

I read on a pop forum that Carrie was doing a radio tour with the tour for Hate My Heart. Have y’all heard anything of this or do y’all think it’s just people blowing smoke?

I think it’d be a cool move given that radio has been treating her songs recently.

^ I can not see Carrie doing a radio tour 17 years into her career. She has always done radio stuff while on tour - interviews, guest djing on stations ect. I imagine she'll still do that kind of stuff.

I was thinking the same thing. Must just be tour interviews and stuff.

^ Carrie performs better on the Mediabsse chart than anything. I think right now she is at #7? Whereas on BB she is at #9. That could help her singles place higher on BB.

Only too bad this will start after GS has peaked!!

it's not really clear what method they'll use to determine the chart. Could be 100% the media base chart we have now and AIs will just be used for the Hot country song chart
