Well... first match in there's already controversial penalty decision. Actually... not controversial, it was totally not a penalty at all.

Oh well, what's World Cup without silly refereeing decisions eh?

Usually, the referees are PRO the host country in the World Cup !!

I seen the replay of that when I got home from work and that was just a brutual call, FIFA just can't go a day without some sort of negative issue.

Fear for their lives I guess!

YES -- for example : World Cup in 1978 in Argentina . it was Argentina Versus Holland -- Argentina was the winner. I remember the audience threw paper into the field ! The most famous player from Argentina in this game was Mario Kempes.

The game could really go either way in the second half... it's the penalty that completely lifted the spirit of the whole Brazilian team.

I guess they will never introduce video technology to help make decisions like this. How else could people do match-fixing and have referees make bias decisions in the future?

Brazil 3-1 Croatia.

That USA game was awesome! I admit I don't always follow the World Cup as USA never does very well. Lol but this year it is really interesting to me for some reason.

Memo to FIFA, when a guy is knocked out cold you might want to have a rule that says he can't go back into the game two minutes after he wakes up.
