Some of the hottest acts on the country charts and country’s all-time legends are gathering at the Grand Ole Opry for an “Opry All-Star Weekend” March 4 and 5. Among those scheduled to perform include 2011 Academy of Country Music nominees The Band Perry, Blake Shelton, and Carrie Underwood, plus Rodney Atkins, Hall of Famer Jimmy Dickens, and more. A second show has been added to the weekend line-up on Fri., March 4, and artist performance dates are available at opry.com.

Fans will have a chance to meet Opry member Terri Clark, who will sign copies of her latest CD, “The Long Way Home,” and her new DVD, “Live At Cedar Creek,” in The Opry Shop on March 5 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. before appearing on that night’s Opry show.

“All-Star Weekend” shows will include free Opry trading cards for fans at the shows and in-show giveaways in addition to all-star performances on stage and pre-show tailgate fun outside the Opry House. Fans can also enjoy backstage tours of the newly refurbished Grand Ole Opry House throughout the weekend. The “Opry All-Star Weekend” will also include the debut of Opry check-in features on Facebook and Foursquare, giving fans the opportunity to save on weekend Opry activities, Opry star music, and other merchandise.

Fans can prepare for the All-Star fun by entering the “Opry All-Star Sweepstakes” at opry.com and by purchasing an “Opry All-Star Weekend Combo” including an Opry ticket, Opry House Backstage Tour, and exclusive commemorative print.

Isn't it comforting that, no matter how the awards politics shake out, Carrie will always have her "forever" home at the Opry??!!

ABSOLUTELY! :) It's so nice to make sure that regardless as to how down Carrie may be, she will never be out. She'll have the Opry to turn to every time.

Hmm, wonder who the draw is for them to add another show on Friday night but not Saturday?

Just thought, is this the first time Carrie's performed at the Grand Ole Opry House since its been restored since last May's flood? I think it is, hmmm?
