Any possibility of Carrie sneaking in another week at #1 on the Country Album charts before Taylor's reign begins?

Frank question : Since they're not doing a red/green/blue disc release a la Shania, will Red be counted as a country CD? Scott B did make it clear that he considered it to be a pop album. While the extent of SWSRN/Carrie's pop and countriness is always debatable, what/who decides whether an album is eligible for a certain genre's chart at all?

It's whatever the label is listed as that ultimately decides it. Big Machine=country label, so technically Taylor could release gangster rap and it will TECHNICALLY be released as "country" since that is the genre of the label

Really? This seems silly...Can't a label be registered to more than than one genre? And so, for whatever reason, if Nicki Minaj chose to sign to BMR, her albums would chart on the country charts? There's no other specifications?

Labels don't get to have the final say, Billboard classifies the albums.

Miley Cyrus' "Hannah Montana: The Movie (Soundtrack)" was not classified as 'Country' until a month or so of its releases.

Considering Billboard considers all "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together", "Begin Again" and "Red" Country songs, there's no way they're not counting it as a Country album.

Then the reason for SWSRN being country is not the music.
