As well as the great performance, I enjoyed Carrie's little anecdote at the beginning - not every artist can sound entirely genuine when they talk about their beginnings, but Carrie can draw a picture of an ordinary childhood with charm and conviction.

Choosing "Spinning Bottles" for a Country Radio Seminar struck me as interesting - as it doesn't seem the sort of material that they would normally play (but certainly should...)

It’s funny, everyone’s all upset with this era in terms of the CMAs and radio airplay, but on paper this era has been pretty impressive!

So happy Cry Pretty went platinum!!

It feels like a perfect time for a tour DVD, DA to hit #1, then a bad@ss lead single later this year! Love the shade she threw about 'dude songs' and hope her next album is an "in your face" county rock revenge album!
