Carrie just announced via the Opry Twitter that she will be back for two shows on July 30th to celebrate Barbara Mandrell’s 50th anniversary!

Best in the business…. Even a ballad like that she can bring a person to tears….

Ditto. Carrie slow songs & ballads are her very best vocals as she really shines, you can hear & understand every word of the song & they touch your heart strings. Love "Garden" & IMO her Gospel Album is her best

So many incredible country women in music through the decades, not only vocally , but some of the best musicians around. It still boggles my mind that the women of country music get treated the way the do on radio…

Barbara was everything Carrie mentioned about her…. God love the ladies of country….

She is constantly busy and in demand, yet she finds time to be on the Opry (and she is already scheduled for two more shows in August). Carrie also respects the Opry, just by her appearance.
