Call this greedy, lol - or just letting my imagination run riot - but I thought it might be fun to imagine if it had been possible to celebrate Decade 1 with a four disc collection.

Everyone would have their own choices - but what I've tried to do here is illustrate some of Carrie's less widely recognized stylistic range

Fantasy Disc 3 (Album Gems)

1. I Ain't In Checotah Anymore
2. Starts With Goodbye
3. Flat On the Floor
4. Get Out Of This Town
5. Crazy Dreams
6. I Know You Won't
7. Someday When I Stop Loving You
8. Songs Like This
9. Forever Changed
10. Thank God For Hometowns
11. Leave Love Alone
12. Cupid's Got A Shotgun
13. Wine After Whiskey

Fantasy Disc 4 (Non-album recordings & performances)

1. Because You Love Me (American Idol performance, round of the Top 16)
2. Independence Day (Post-Idol single release, Country "flip side")
3. Bless the Broken Road (Live, Carrie Underwood Stripped)
4. Praying For Time (Live, Idol Gives Back)
5 I'll Stand By You (Idol Gives Back, African video)
6. San Antonio Rose (Live, Grammy tribute, featuring Johnny Gimble & Ray Benson)
7. Desperado (Live, Grammy Tribute)
8. Alone (Live, I Heart Radio)
9. You're Looking At Country (Loretta Lynn tribute)
10. It Had To Be You (Tony Bennett duet)
11. Always On My Mind (Willie Nelson duet)
12. The Lonely Goat Herd (The Sound of Music Live)
13. Oklahoma Wind (Bonus work tape)

Disc 3 - The Ones That Should Have Been:
1. The Night Before (Life Goes On)
2. Starts with Goodbye
3. I Just Can't Live a Lie
4. I Ain't in Checotah Anymore
5. Flat On the Floor
6. Get Out of This Town
7. I Know You Won't
8. You Won't Find This
9. Twisted
10. Someday When I Stop Loving You
11. Songs Like This
12. Look at Me
13. What Can I Say
14. Do You Think About Me
15. One Way Ticket
16. Leave Love Alone
17. Wine After Whiskey

Disc 4 - Music Videos for All the Hits + New Ones for the Ones That Should Have Been! ☺️

Just my opinion. lol.

Oh! And put a live performance of Alone (doesn't matter which one), studio of I'll Stand by You, live performance of IKYW, live performance of Blown Away just because the studio version is too polished imo, and a re-recorded Inside Your Heaven to see what it sounds like now in there somewhere.
Wow, those really were fantasy discs 😂😂😂

I'm not going to make a full 2 disc list, but this thread gave me the inspiration to whine for a second...

It's nearly inexcusable that Flat On The Floor, I Know You Won't, Songs Like This, and Wine After Whiskey weren't released as singles.

Disc 3 can have the singles that could and should have been....oh how badly I wish some of these were singles!

-Starts With Goodbye

-Flat On the Floor
-Get Out of This Town
-I Know You Won't
(this would make 8 singles total from Carnival Ride...LOL obviously unrealistic, but that's my favorite album of Carrie's. I think any and all of these 3 above have #1 hit potential)

-Someday When I Stop Loving You
-Quitter
(I feel that either of these choices would have been stronger singles than MS)

Strangely, I don't feel as passionate about BA's "should have been" singles...Perhaps Wine After Whiskey or Do You Think About Me? Maybe Leave Love Alone or Cupid's Got A Shotgun would sound good on the radio? Idk, none of these scream to me "I should have been a single!"

Not gonna list out any songs here but one of my favorite bands on their greatest hits had a fan vote for songs to be put on one of their discs. The choices included every song they ever recorded even ones that didn't make any of the albums. I think it would have been cool if Carrie had done something similar.
