Platinum in three weeks, I hope!

yeah that is amazing for Remind Me it's also nice that SH is still selling all though it's been downgraded to second best selling Idol Album Kelly Clarkson's Breakaway has sold 7.160.000

^I was gonna say when did it sell that extra million copies? That's great for RM itll pass 1 million really soon. And I dont know if this has been posted anywhere else but Just a Dream passed 1 million in sales this week!

"Remind Me" will definitely go Platinum, but at this rate, I don't see it surpassing Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson's "Don't You Wanna Stay" to be the biggest-selling country collaboration...But then, the crossover and performances haven't happened for RM yet...

^I'm sure Remind me will surpass DYWS, it's been selling over 50k every week without a single tv performance, and DYWS had many live performances (no music video, but still...). And it's still inside the top 20 on iTunes after its peak on radio. To me, it's been selling incredibly well. Maybe not this year but eventually RM will surpass DYWS, it's a much bigger seller.

I understand what you're saying. But if "Remind Me"'s only live performance will be on the CMAs, or not even one, there will be no more extra exposure for it. It sounds less likely to crossover like "Don't You Wanna Stay" does, but of course if it does it totally has the chance to outsell the latter -- but if not, it'll just be selling base on their name recognition, and that Brad Paisley and Carrie will both release new singles very soon really don't do that good. Plus, DYWS still has the award season coming up, Jason Aldean is a way bigger than Brad Paisley, etc.

Only time will tell who was right lol. My opinion is that RM's sales will keep steady and it'll reach DYWS (a tv performance wouldn't hurt...). And I don't think winning an award will help DYWS, the exposure will help Jason himself and his album imo.
