Information, please, on a Carrie cover song

I came across a clip of Carrie singing Chrissie Hynde's "I'll Stand By You".

Can anyone please tell me the likely year and circumstances when she performed this song, and whether it became a regular tour number?

Carrie sang that on Idol Gives Back in 2007 in a video package from Africa.
She then sang it live on the Idol finale that year.

She did sing it on the few dates she had that year but it was never included in a regular tour.

It's one of my favorite covers.
