I'm looking forward to this. It will be a TV movie - and I think the prospects of it also being picked up by a UK channel are high. It's directed by Callie Khouri (who also directed Thelma & Louise, and created the Nashville series). To aid authenticity, members of the Cline and Lynn families have advised on the production. As well as the two leading characters, other Country singers of the era, including Jan Howard, June Carter and Dottie West are portrayed in smaller parts. The theme is topical for today's situation in radio, as Patsy Cline was critical of the male dominance in the industry of that era, and reached out to support other women artists (including Loretta)
