This upcoming film will have Dr Ralph Stanley making his acting debut (at the the of 82), and Merle Haggard, playing a preacher
A big attraction is likely to be the soundtrack. As well as Dr Ralph, another Mountain Music great - Jesse McReynolds (of Jim & Jesse) will appear, as well as AMA awards host Jim Lauderdale, young Texas string band sensation Sarah Jarosz, one of my favourite singers, Elizabeth Cook, Justin Townes Earle (Steve's son, and an AMA best emerging artist winner), among others.
