IDOL TIME: A Quincy woman went into a local store Thursday night and did not see any other customers or clerks and wondered what was going on. "My husband and I then walked around a corner and saw about a dozen people, including customers and those who worked there, all gathered around a small television set watching â American Idol,'" she said. The woman said she would have joined them, but she was recording the show and was planning to watch it later that evening. "American Idol," the nation's No. 1-rated TV show for the past seven years, returned for its 10th season Jan. 19.
