Pop Star Prince Found Dead at Minnesota Estate

^^^^^^^Thanks for posting this. I just heard this on campus and I was heading over here to post it. I know that he has not been in the best of health for some time but I did not know what or how severe it was. I liked some of his work and thought he could have done a lot better on some things. He had a lot of problems from what I hear. Sad...RIP............
That is true about the seizures. We were talking about Prince in class this morning and I had forgotten that he had been married twice and had lost a child (don't remember which marriage). He was a little dude (just 5ft 2 inches tall and very tiny build but had a gigantic voice that filled an arena. I did not have the good fortune of seeing him in concert but the band (in high school) and I covered some of his songs. We played the heck out of 1999 and Purple Rain. I respected him for always helping out his community (much like Carrie does in OK). We lost another good entertainer.

MediaTakeOut.com just received word that a VERY popular African-American celebrity - who has recently been in the news - now has what is being described as AIDS. Obviously since we are not able to 100% confirm the story - we're going to leave it as a Blind Item. We want to make it clear we are NOT talking about Magic Johnson. This report REALLY hurt our heart. According to a person EXTREMELY CLOSE to the situation, the celebrity, who is known for having a very EXTREME sexual past reportedly contracted the illness sometime in the 1990s. He kept the illness quiet but began taking his medication RELIGIOUSLY up until about two years ago. Here's what we're told by a VERY trusted entertainment insider: "[The celebrity] believed that he was cured, and he had some crazy [religious] people who told him that God cured him. So he stopped taking his medication and the sickness came back. Now doctors say he's dying, and there is nothing anyone can do about it." We're told that the celebrity is expected to get sicker and sicker, and eventually pass. It can happen as soon as the summer. Very sad news. Prince

This is one of the things I heard this morning and I did not want to repeat it as it was not confirmed. However, none of us in our lab class was surprised as there have been many stories throughout the years about him. He looked really frail in the last couple of years. Sad --no matter what.....

I don't want to spread gossip either, but that would make so much more sense than a supposedly healthy 57 year old dying from the flu. I know it can happen, but if someone's immune system is good, they should (hopefully) be able to fight the flu. If his immune system could have been compromised due to something else, then it makes sense that he could have succumbed to the flu a lot easier.
