^She won't add much to her numbers. I would prefer Sam Hunt or someone who is popular. However, if Carrie wants an ALL-Girl tour, I can see her asking her.

Not sure why all the hate for Ballerini. I feel like she's a female Sam Hunt and at least she's bringing something exciting and new to the Genre without taking herself too seriously.

I actually like her. I was just talking abt helping Carrie's ticket numbers. Carrie tend to get openers who does very little to increase her numbers. I want a BIG tour. The guys does so well bc they have a bunch of other pretty well known artists.

I just want this ERA to be very successful. Thou she may lose some pop fans, I think she will gain some traditional fans.

^ I female Sam Hunt is not a good thing to me.
She'll bring nothing to the concert

He's the biggest new star in any Genre right now and she's got a lot of buzz for a female. Lots of young males love her and her music and at least she has a fun attitude and radio likes her.

Guess it depends if there is another person on the ticket as well. I don't think Ballerini will hurt her numbers in any way,

^ they won't help, and her music is so opposite of Carrie's new direction

Just a bad fit all around.Ah well just another 15/20 minutes I'll have to get to the show

I'm okay with Kelsea opening for Carrie. I hope though she'll have 2 artists as openers - Mickey Guyton or Cam in addition to Kelsea.

I don't agree it's a bad fit. As far as Carrie's new direction, I wonder how many people will like her old direction better than the new direction? That in itself may hurt or help numbers but it's too early to predict.

Comparing her to Sam Hunt is not a reason to make me like her, considering I basically treat Sam Hunt as if he is my own personal nemesis. I do like her better than Sam Hunt, and I do think she has talent, I just don't care so much for the way she is using that talent. I'd much rather see Maddie and Tae, Cam, Lucy Hale, a year ago I would have said Lauren Alaina, Scotty McCreery, or Danielle Bradbery, but their new releases are kinda concerning. I'd still prefer them to Kelsea though.

Windmills thinks Ballerini glomming all over Carrie at fashion week is a sign she'll open for Carrie.

Pray this is not gonna happen

Lol, well....I might just pray for it to happen because I love KB's album. I don't think it has anything to do with it, though. KB was already in NY for GMA and the CMA nominations and that concert she did. She probably decided to hit up fashion week while she's there to be seen.

Different strokes for Different folks. All of those people you mention would be boring openers for me.

I'm not a fan of the singles released by Ballerini at all, I haven listened to the album, but I may have to, just to see if it is as good as some say. That is what would change my mind. Would rather, as of right now, not have Kelsea open for Carrie. I'm in the Chris Young camp. If an all girls tour, Mickey or Cam sound good, but Maddie and Tae are my first choices.

See, I listened to Sam Hunt's Montavello and I hated it. I listened to Kelsea's album and I loved it. I think they are targeting the same demographic, but his music to me is much more R&B/pop influenced and I think Kelsea is more country, although her first two singles are not representative of the whole album. I love XO, Peter Pan, The First Time, Looking at Stars, Stilettos, Sirens, and Secondhand Smoke. Honestly, I think her album is at least as good as what I've heard from Lauren Alaina and Danielle Bradbery on their debut albums. No, Kelsea doesn't have the vocal talent of Carrie, but she appears to be a good songwriter and if you can look past the 3-4 more pop-leaning tracks (LMLYMI, Dibs, Yeah Boy), the rest is a great album. Kelsea is releasing the more pop sounding singles, however, I can't blame the girl for trying to breakthrough on radio with what's popular right now.
