Sophia Bush Declares War On Urban Outfitters For Selling A Shirt With The Words "Eat Less."


This is actually not news - the shirt has been out since 2010 - but I think they released it, pulled it off the shelves, and then released it again. Thoughts?

With all due respect to her and her interpretation of that shirt, the vast majority of americans overeat by quite a bit. It is absolute knowledge that the body needs much less food for optimal health than what we are accustomed to consuming.
A shirt that says eat less, for me, is pointing toward a much much bigger problem than anorexia. Obesity and the ramifications of overeating is vastly greater social issue than those that starve themselves.

I might suggest the advertising of it on a skinny model is confusing the issue. But dr's nutritionalists and scientists have been telling americans to eat less for the last 4 decades!
