I didn't know where else to put this but this song just teared me up. As a survivor of sexual abuse myself, it means a lot for an artist I like to talk about the issue in such a moving manner. I thought it was an important to share with everyone.
According to Vince Gill, there was an attempt of abuse on him in junior high but he was lucky to escape. But he knew that if something had happened, it would have changed him forever. That's where the song came from.
