I believe he had participation in all albums at least in part except the last album. I think Mark Bright is a good person, Christian by his reputation. We will just have to wait to see what happens.

Did Mark Bright produce all her albums before Cry Pretty? Or just Some Hearts? Maybe he is a bad guy and that's why Carrie didnt want to work with him anymore..?

He's not a bad guy, she just wanted to branch out. He produced all of her albums, I believe, until ST. She used a variety of producers for that one and Mark produced 3 or 4 of the tracks. Carrie and her co-producer were the only ones on CP. As I said in a previous post, he still works with her -- produces her Saturday Night Football songs (co-produced Game On), and was involved in some capacity on CP tour.

He hasn't but if what this woman says is true he's definitely the 'bad' guy in this situation.

The intro, the title and saying game on are the only similarities. Yeah I don’t see her winning because she has to prove that Mark Bright actually passed it on to her team.

Agree. That’s all that is similar. This is total bull.

Just saw this on Twitter. Here is a more in depth look at the SNF lawsuit and what could take place.

She must be hard up for money or really thinks that Carrie went out of her way to rip her song off for some reason. Which is stupid considering that!the song isn’t even that good in my opinion. I have a feeling that her case will be dismissed, and if it is then I hope that she has to pay the others peoples attorney fees.

Even though I'm positive Carrie didn't steal the song, both tracks are very similar. I'm sure the similarity was coincidental.

If anything Mark Bright should be the one in the hot seat considering she apparently pitched the song to him and then he would have brought it to Carrie (obviously excluding the whole stealing it part)

But either way I dont think they sound that similar at all just the same title

"Merrill and her co-plaintiffs stress that they wrote, composed and recorded a song called "Game On" in 2016. Although Merrill concedes that Underwood’s version of "Game On" is different, Merrill insists that Underwood’s alterations are inconsequential. As Merrill sees it, Underwood was legally obligated to acknowledge Merrill as the song’s author and to acquire Merrill’s permission in order to use the song. Merrill depicts Underwood as falsely claiming that "Game On" is her original work." This is where she loses the entire argument, as there are many song's with the some of the same or similar lyrics and titles.

Look at Amebix's The Darkest Hour:

And when I'm dead
And when I'm gone
There will be one child born
And a world will carry on

Now look at lyrics from And When I Die by Blood, Sweat & Tears:

And when I die
and when I'm dead, dead and gone,
There'll be one child born and
a world to carry on, to carry on

If you Google 'Game On Lyrics' the first results are a song by Waka Flocka Flame and contain the following lyrics:
Game on, game on, hope you people ready - see the game on repeated here and song is called Game On - is she suing them as well?

It's a pathetic attempt to extort money and I have no doubt she will lose.

^ most would take that as a victory. You don't drop lawsuits you think you're gonna win.
