I don't think they sold seats that didn't have a view of the stage. Some seats to the right and left of the stage may have limited views of the screens.

Ok good news about Kentucky. Those are great numbers! Nashville was lower then I expected though, but at least it was almost 10,000. Still. Miranda did 13k in Nashville. Confused. :(

But yikes 6,000? that is pretty bad. Worse then the PO tour. She went down by several thousand people from the PO tour in those cities. I don't understand. And even Miranda beat Carrie by 3,000 in Nashville.

wow. I am bummed.

base on the numbers, and the fact that carrie has NEVER gotten a nom for cma eoty i say at the moment she has a zero to none chance in getting a nom.

The haters are going to be All over these low 6,000 numbers. Wow.

They are going to say Haz-been again...:( Not fair, but when someone goes down in numbers, it does not look good. She had bigger numbers for those cities for the PO tour.

Someone of her stature should be selling more then 6,000 seats.

How did Miranda beat her in Nashville? That depresses me.

considering the fact that carrie couldn't even sell out a concert that was less than 7k, and the fact that the cma's love to snubb her and i say that carrie has only a 10 percent chance in getting a nom for eoty in 2013, and has 5 percent chance in actually winning, hopefully her numbers will get better.

Sadly I agree. 6,000 is terrible. What is happening? She sold 8,000 at those venues before.

I believe Blown Away Tour sold as many tickets as Play On Tour, but grossed more money... and this is good, very good...

TBH I thought her numbers would be a bit higher. I guess we'll see higher numbers for the next shows.

what happen? simple carrie took a break from touring so people decided to move on to the next big thing- aka Miranda Lambert.

I tried to give you a heads up to look at the overall tour numbers instead of individual venues. I had no idea what the numbers would be but the tickets were selling better in the later venues than the earlier ones. Carrie is also making more money even though the attendance numbers are lower.

Regarding Miranda at Bridgestone, her ticket prices were $49.75 & 25.75 so even with the higher attendance she made $560,289 vs Carrie's $591,096.

Keep your head up Tee, we've got a long way to go with the tour. :)

I am officially depressed now. :(

I do not think she has a chance at EOTY with those low numbers. She sold 2,000 less in some cities. Even Miranda is outselling her.

That was the beginning of the tour, and as the keeps getting great reviews she will start to sell more tickets. Also Miranda had more openers and bigger names with her, so it may not be all her. Lets wait awhile longer before everyone goes into panic mode. Haz been really?

I cant remember how many were at Baton Rouge, if that counts. I think it was like 2 to 3 thousand. But that was no different from when Taylor or Kenny headlined before. And the mayor said this was the biggest turn out so far. :)
