Tv.com has an article where they rate new shows four episodes in, and for Chicago Fire, they mention how overwhelming and not compelling its "hero worship" of firefighters is, saying "in episode 3, a villain (Detective Voight) is finally introduced to act against the whitest hat of them all (Casey) but his weapons so far have been a gravelly voice and minor vandalism. It's like he's taking revenge classes from Carrie Underwood."
