Agree. By changing the chart year last year they messed up the credibility of this years awards too ad who knows what months will be counted twice now. Crazy
Again, the Billboard year didn't get changed for a year. It was just they created a Billboard award show year particular for the award show. It means, while "TiK ToK" is still the year-end #1 single, it won't award Ke$ha an award.
some catalog albums have great legs look for example at Metallica's self titled album released 20 years ago and still selling about 300k annually yeah sure it's shipped less than Shania Twain's Come On Over but it's rung up more sales through soundscan at 15.8 million compaired to 15.6 million or beatles 1 has sold 11.9 million and sells 250-325k annually but will have an up surge this year because Their catalog is finally available on Itunes and hopefully both albums receive updated certifications soon
