Carrie Underwood to Headline WE Fest 2018

Carrie Underwood has been added to the 2018 WE Fest lineup. The 2017 CMA Female Vocalist of the Year nominee and perennial headliner joins a superstar lineup for the Aug. 2-4 festival in Detroit Lakes, Minn.
Underwood's set at WE Fest is her first-announced live show of 2018. She joins previously revealed performers Jason Aldean and Florida Georgia Line at Soo Pass Ranch, the home of the world's largest country music and camping festival. Tickets are on sale now at the WE Fest website, starting at $120 for three-day general admission tickets, $750 for the VIP upgrade. Camping options are also available now.

This was as a "breaking" story! Everyone is excited to see that she is going to be singing at more festivals!

I know this thread is mainly informational, so I don't want to derail it too much, but does anyone think Carrie might start touring as early as March or April for the new album? Do 2-3 months, summer festivals and then continue into the fall/winter? With Mike's retirement, she might actually be able to tour a little longer (perhaps into winter/spring 2019) since he can come along and not have to miss out on time with her and Isaiah. She could possibly give herself more time between dates, but extend the tour to a year and a half. That way it would fall in the complete eligibility for both the 2019 ACMs and CMAs.

I wonder if she may change and start touring more in summer since Isaiah will be going to school soon.

It’s exciting to see her calendar slowly filling up. Looking forward to her getting her star on HWOF this year.

And here we are almost April and we don't even know if she will release something this year loool and Mike is back at hockey...

This is so sad!

I've been out of town and not sure if I have all of her upcoming appearances (for the next couple weeks). Are there any others besides the Today Show, Idol, and Opry?

We still don't know when Carrie will be getting her Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Since I have never paid any attention to who is getting it, how far in advance does anyone know about it?
