Carries album of covers

New member
After watching the medley from the ACMs on YouTube for the millionth time, I say somewhere down the line we get a full album of covers from Carrie. Just like Martina did with Timeless, I want full versions of those songs. What would you want on an album like that?

1. Better Things to Do
2. Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man (with Brad Paisley)
3. Sweet Dreams
4. Stand By Your Man
5. Independence Day
6. Once a Day
7. Does He Love You (with Reba)
8. You Needed Me
9. 9 to 5
10. Different Drum
11. Those Memories of You (feat. Maddie and Tae)
12. Sleeping Single in a Double Bed
13. Where’ve You Been
14. Walkway Joe (feat. Kelsea Ballerini)
15. Something of Crystal Gayles
16. Remember When

Is that too many classics? We know she can belt em out. Share your thoughts

I think it should be two disk

Out of the ones she has covered I would love on cd is Different Drum, I Will Always Love You, Make The World Go Away, Someone To Watch Over Me, Never Tear Us Apart, San Antonio Rose, Paradise City, Crazy (need full version), The Night the Lights Went Out In Georgia (need full version), A Broken Wing (need full version), Remember When, Everybody Hurts, Alone, Sweet Child of Mine, November Rain, Neon Moon, Sweet Emotion, How Great Thou Art, Soft And Tenderly.

Patsy Cline Sweet Dreams:
Heart Barracuda:
Jane Monheit Some Other Time (I think Carrie would be amazing on her version):
Elvis Presley Can't Help Falling In Love:
Dolly Parton Jolene:
Elvis Presley Kentucky Rain:
Patsy Cline I Fall To Pieces:
Bill Monroe Blue Moon Of Kentucky:
Wilma Burgess Misty Blue:
Anita Carter and Hank Williams I Can't Help It duet:
Righteous Brothers Unchanged Melody:
Malcolm Vaughan My Special Angel:
Aerosmith Dream On:
Led Zeppelin Stairway To Heaven:
Frank Sinatra Strangers In The Night:
Aerosmith I Don't Want to Miss a Thing:
Long Black Veil: (this is an old song but this is my favorite version)

I need a studio version of “Alone”. That is still one of her best performances ever in my opinion.

Carrie's versatility.

A few years ago, somebody asked me, "What is it you like so much about Carrie Underwood? She's a great singer, I agree with that," he said. "I replied, "Have you ever seen her sing other styles of music? She can sing gospel, pop, rock, Broadway songs, Western swing - you name it." He only knew her from her country work. It amazes me how she can sing so many styles so well. I remember that 2013 Guns N' Roses cover she did. I was head-banging in my bedroom! And then in 2017 when she sang "Softly and Tenderly" at the CMAs, I got chills up my spine. If she ever did a live by request concert, I bet it would break the internet. God has truly blessed her wirh an amazing talent.

Oh and one more:
The Change (Garth Brooks' song written in dedication of victims of the Oklahoma City bombing). She would nail it!
