Carrie's Co-Write in Julianne Hough's album

Read on Pulse that Julianne Hough's album "Wildfire" leaked.

You can hear Carrie's co-write "I'll Be The DJ" on the album. The song was written for PO era, with Gorley and Lovelace as cowriters.

ETA: Just finished listening to it. It's ok. Pretty much album track material imo.

Can you give the link to listen?
I haven't seen any streaming links yet, and it doesn't feel right for me to post the download link....

Tip: I found the link through a google search specifically for blogs, using the phrase "Julianne Hough new album". ;)

You be the driver, I'll be the DJ
You pick the road we take, I'll pick the songs to play
You keep us rolling, I'll keep us rocking
We'll keep on going, we'll never stop 'til we run out of road
Wear out that stereo

Skipping town
So buckle up and put the peddle down
Baby all you gotta worry about is keeping gas in the tank
Baby what do you think?
What do you say, we drive
Keep the wheels spinning time
Baby keep your baby blue eyes on the road, I'll keep mine on you
We'll keep it real simple
Here's what we're gonna do

You be the driver, I'll be the DJ
You pick the road we take, I'll pick the songs to play
You keep us rolling, I'll keep us rocking
We'll keep on going, we'll never stop 'til we run out of road
Wear out that stereo

Later on
If you get tired, I'll play your favorite song
We'll roll the windows down and sing along real loud
And, we'll both laugh
Getting crazy looks from every car we pass

I'll play something fast, play something slow
We can make it all the way to the coast
I got plenty of songs and nothing but time
Got it all planned out, I hope you don't mind

You be the driver, I'll be the DJ
You pick the road we take, I'll pick the songs to play
You keep us rolling, I'll keep us rocking
We'll keep on going, we'll never stop 'til we run out of road
Wear out that stereo

You be the driver, I'll be the DJ
You be the driver, I'll be the DJ

I'll be the DJ

Probably my least favorite Carrie co-write, tbh. It's cute, I guess, though.

Oh. And, just so ppl know, Julianne's album was scrapped a long time ago. So, you shouldn't feel bad about DL'ing it or anything. It's never coming out to begin with. :p

Can you PM me a link to download? xD

Eh, song sounds like a pop version of Get Out of This Town. Haha. From the lyrics.

What label was she on and why isn't the album coming out? Did she release a first single that didn't do well?

TBH, I never liked the song from the title! But if other atistd are picking up her songs than she is doing something right!

Can someone plz PM the song...thanks!

I want to hear 18 inches!

I like it!! But it is def a more poppy feel!! To me it's something Taylor swift would record, but it's not bad!! Would still like to hear Carrie's version though!!
