Last year, Deandre Brackensick had his heart broken when he failed to qualify for the Top 24 phase of "American Idol." Now, the San Jose singer believes that it's the best thing that could have happened to him.
"I'm so glad they cut me last year. I really am," says Brackensick, who made a triumphant return to "Idol" this season. He's now among the remaining 25 singers competing this week with hopes of cracking the Top 12 on the popular TV talent show.
