Janelle Riolo, Testone's college roommate and longtime friend, said she spoke with the singer Thursday about her performance of Adele's "One and Only."
"She asked if I noticed when she messed up," said Riolo, also of Charleston. "I told her she didn't mess up, she got emotional. ... She saw a bunch of young girls in the audience, seeing them and having them watch her in amazement and focus on her, it got real. I think she got happy and overwhelmed."
