Google Chrome Font Display Problem

Hi All,

Are there any Google Chrome experts out there? In Twitter, I often receive tweets that have symbols as part of the text (hearts, for instance). In Chrome, these display as hollow squares. How do I fix this problem? Do I need to download a symbols font pack from Microsoft, or is there some other solution? Thanks for your help.

Update: Just viewed Twitter in Internet Explorer and I see the problem there as well.

So, the problem is in all three of the popular browsers.

Anyone know how to solve this problem?
