According to my estimations, Carrie has sold 39,972,000 records (album + singles) in the US. She should break the 40 million barrier this week. :)

Edit: Added more sales: from 39,954,000 to 39,972,000 records.

I love this paragraph:

"Carrie Underwood's Blown Away is #6 for the year-to-date with sales of 1,067,000. This will mark the second time that Underwood has had an album in the year-end top 10. Some Hearts was #3 for 2006. Blown Away has spawned two top 20 hits, "Good Girl" and "Blown Away.""

Carrie always outdoing herself. Great to see that after 6 yearsr, she can have one of the top 10 best selling albums of the year.

Do you think she's safe at #6? I don't think someone's gonna pass her.

I don't think anyone will pass her. This past week's sales put Carrie ahead of Lionel, to stay. I don't know how "Babel" is selling, but a huge 3-weeks of sales to end 2012 may put BA ahead of Babel. We'll see.

That's good. And Babel sold 45k this week, so I don't think Carrie is gonna pass them. Their album is pretty new :(

I think One Direction will pass her.

Nice to see tBC going stronger but dang it needs to pick up. Lol. I think it is being overshadowed by BAs single sales still since BA was such a powerhouse single. The same thing happened with Wasted. One of carries best dongs ever but BHc was such a monster hit that it was impossible for Wasted to really shine.

Michael Bublé gets up there with Christmas sales and Adele does it with basically one album. Amazing. :)

The fact that she's outselling pop stars like beyonce and Kelly clarkson is just amazing!!!! This is without remixing any of her songs. She's truly the ambassador of country music!!

Carrie should get some Billboard Noms, right? the Billboard Calendar year is up, and she was one of the biggest country sellers. She will lose to SWSRN-- of course- but I want to see her at least be nominated this year.
