I was so shocked that Loretta said she is making new music after her stoke I thought she would not make music anymore.

I shall always admire Loretta, not just for her outspoken early songs, but for experimenting with a new, Progressive, genre-spanning musical style on her "Van Lear Rose" album, when she was over 70. If she did bring out new music now, I'd be very keen to hear it.

However - a word of caution - that post doesn't actually seem to mention new music. Looking forward to a great year could imply time with her family, and the issue of the book, rather than new recording - which would presumably involve considerable strain for someone in frail health. But we can certainly hope!
