Maren Morris is supporting Niall Horan on his Flicker World Tour right now, and ahead of a stop in Brazil earlier this month, the "Rich" singer spoke with Keeping Track, where she revealed some of her dream collaborations. One may not be far-fetched.

When the interviewer mentioned that many fans hope Morris will duet with Carrie Underwood at some point, she confessed that she recently reached out to the "Cry Pretty" singer to suggest it.
"I wrote to Carrie a few weeks ago [hoping] that we could do something together," Morris shares (quotes translated from Portugese). "So, [maybe there will be] a collaboration one day."

I LOVE Carrie! However, I think there was something lost in translation with this Billboard Brazil interview I did. What I actually said was we wrote together years ago and the interviewer asked if we’d collaborate one day and I replied “Maybe someday! That’d be amazing.”

I'm not going to lie but this clarification makes me happy!!! I don't like her voice at all and her the vibe she gives off even less. So it makes me happy that a collaboration isn't in the immediate future!!!!

I'm bad -- lol, when I found the ToC article yesterday I didn't even think about the eventuality of a collab with Maren; rather, was focused on the coincidence with the rumored Niall connection. MM/Carrie might be OK but not something I would be particularly excited to hear -- not sorry the translation was inaccurate.
