Also, there are some years that I hadn’t seen all of the movies nominated for Best Picture, or just can’t remember them. I’m sure I missed some.

Oooh, in to do this within the next day or so. Watch this space, ha.

Although, I don't think I'll be able to go back all the way to '90. I'll try going back to 2000, 'cause there are SO many movies from pre-2000 I haven't seen.

I'll start off by saying my top five for 2015 so far is:

Carol
Mad Max: Fury Road
Spotlight
Inside Out
Far from the Madding Crowd

In that order. Wrestled with putting Brooklyn and Ex Machina in there.

By the way, I'm loving some of your choices, like The Devil Wears Prada, Zero Dark Thirty and Bridesmaids! :D

I used Wikipedia to find the listings of all the movies in each year. You can put in "2015 in film" and it shows all the major movies released that year. Good luck!

I've agreed with the Academy 8 times in 25 years, 32%, but it's been 8 years since my choice for Best Picture won. Hopefully that streak will end this year.

Your favorite being The Revenant, I think that's highly possible, lol.

My favorite (nominated) film of 2011 was The Artist, so that was the last time I agreed with the Academy.
