Just wanted to acknowledge a sad day in world history. December 1 is global AIDS Day;we remember all those who have died and are dying of HIV/ AIDS. Remember, you can get AIDS if you are gay or straight, so i encourage all members to practice safe sex, please. You can also get AIDS from sharing needles.
I definitely see this day in a new light, since I recently came out to my family as gay. AIDS is a terrible way to go, so please be careful. It isnot something a lot of people like to talk about, but something we need to acknowledge. Praying for all those affected by this.
