6 Quads.... What a way to end the Olympics without a medal. Going from 17th to 5th place was super impressive...... At least he can leave having the best in history with 6 quads....

What a wonderful free skate performance, so filled with emotion, and all the pressure off him, he went out there to show the world who he is and what he was capable of..... Bravo Nathan.....

I've been DVRing the Olympics - I can't believe I missed TC! I think that particular night my DVR cutoff - I didn't even see Hanyu's final score, so I guess it cut off TC too. I try to add time to my live recordings, but I guess I didn't that night for some reason.

For those of you who watched the ice dance competition you would know who Scott and Tessa are. This is old but I thought you would get a kick out of Scott's celebrity crush (12 seconds into the video). lol.

I am
a bit disappointed in our female skaters the past few Olympics. I knew we would not beat the Russians but I expected us to have a chance at bronze. They all came off vastly inferior to the top skaters sadly.

Gracie Gold was at least 4th last Olympics. She had a shot had she not bowed out this time due to personal issues. But otherwise it’s hard to understand how those three skaters were the best USA had to offer?

Something is seriously holding back Usa female skaters lately to ever get to the level of the Russians or even the Japanese abd that Canaduan bronze winner. I hope Team USA really takes hard look
at their training next time abd starts them on harder more competitive programs. We are just not good enough to compete right now.

At least Nathan Chen is on par or better than the other international skaters. Had his nerves not gotten to him he could have won it all.

The ladies need need to step up their game. Even their artistry and dance elements are not on par with the top tier ladies.

^ I agree the US skating program is not near what it use to be.Very disappointing at every event.

GOLD for US men's curling!! Now that's exciting!

side note: russisans kicked out for doping, then they let them back in, and so far 2 have failed drug test.smh

Yeah, and there was a picture going around on Twitter one 1 of the accused with a shirt that says "I do not dope" or something to that effect.
