Carrie should release this song as the second single to coincide with the summer season. It begs to be heard on the radio with the windows down while drumming on the dashboard! The song is nostalgic and carefree. Crazy Angels would do well on radio, because it gives the listeners a break from heavy, emotionally driven songs. Musicality isn’t sacrificed in the least, but rather redirected to bring in a 90’s vibe. You’d be hard pressed not to hear Martina, Faith, Shania, and Carrie (Some Hearts) era. Yes, I did get all of this from a 13 sec. clip!

I like GS so that’s fine. I really love CA too. If it were up to me I’d send the entire album to radio based on these three songs lol.

Ok, I love that she's doing this to make some promo out of the album.
I'm not going to listen to it though. I only listen D&R once (and I loved it).
But I prefer to have the whole album fresh to my ears (I did listen to the clip though).
I feel kind of bad because I want to help her with streams, but I don't want to spoil half of the album (if she's releasing a song per week).

I doubt she release a song per week. This is actually not uncommon among artists to release a few promo songs. Also, Carrie did this with CP where she released 30 sec. of each song.

To put into perspective, this is what would happen should they move her release date:
For UMG - it would give them two consecutive #1 albums on the BB200, further expanding their market share
For Carrie - it would make her the only country artist in history to score BB200 #1 albums in 3 different decades, plus would expand her record as the female country artist with the most BB200 #1 albums (5)
As anyone can see, moving the date would benefit everyone involved in these releases.
It’s not a fan thing. It’s not “bla bla bla chart obsession”.
It’s business, publicity, revenue. Plain and simple.

Even though I want them to move the release date I’m not holding my breath, I seriously doubt it’ll happen
I think CA would be a good summer single, likely won’t be till next summer though as Ghost Story won’t peak until October/ November. This album might only go 3 singles deep due to how long the chart runs are. Unless she release a deluxe version.

I am more excited for this album than I was for Storyteller and Cry Pretty and they turned out to be my favorite Carrie albums. I think this one is going to top them both! I'm even excited for the GS video! I just love the vibe of these songs!

I really like this song. The lyrics were clever rhyming “corner” with “quarter” and I love the visual of “heaven knows I’m flying low tonight”
She definitely meant it when she said it’ll be nostalgic but sound fresh!

The Song is good. It needs to grow on me agree a little less production would be nice.
a little toning down of that massive wall of noise is not asking for minimal production
