Not about the Globes, but I just thought I'd share that I watched that 8th grade movie today. My thought is that I didn't need to see it, since I live it every day teaching middle school.

Also I watched it while grading the papers I forgot to grade until the very last day. Grades are due tomorrow afternoon. I also just realized that this morning when I was thinking I had time because grades are due the 7th. Then I realized that's tomorrow. Ha ha. Thankfully there wasn't a lot to grade.

Bohemian Rhapsody and Green Book won the Picture prizes I caaaaaan't.

I haven't seen "Green Book" but "Bohemian Rhapsody" was not the typical 'awards' movie at all. By far the best part was the very end where it was pretty much the Live Aid concert. Rami did a good job but I preferred Bradley Cooper's performance in "A Star Is Born". I also preferred "A Star is Born" to "Bohemian Rhapsody" in general.

I mostly agree with your opinions on Beautiful Boy, Hannah. Dare I say that it was a bit... boring? Carell was the standout. I'm not sure how Chalamet is getting in for this performance.
