During her 10[SUP]th[/SUP] visit to the set of the popular daytime television talk show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Carrie Underwood went through a rollercoaster of emotions and experiences thanks to hijinks by the host, Ellen DeGeneres, on Friday (9/16).
While taking a seat in DeGeneres’ famous white chairs, Underwood chatted with the host about a number of different topics and many were not what the country singer expected. During that conversation though, DeGeneres had a little trick up her sleeve to “gift” to Oklahoma native as a way of showing her gratitude for their longtime friendship.
As the visit went on, Underwood was taken for a loop as DeGeneres asked her about some chicken dance she jokingly does very well as instructed by comedian-actor Seth Rogen in a prior prank game called “You Must Say.” Confusion was written all over Underwood’s face while she tried to swing out some sort of chicken moves, leaving DeGeneres and the audience to laugh over the new segment.
Finishing out her time on the show, Underwood took the sound stage to perform her latest radio single, “Dirty Laundry,” for the crowd. Bringing the sass and the strong vocals, Underwood commanded the performance and made it look just so easy.
Check out the video clips of Underwood’s time on Ellen and be sure to listen out for her current single, “Dirty Laundry,” playing on country radio now.
Omg this is gonna be epic! Cannot wait! Can someone explain what Seth Rohan had to do with the chicken dance?
Not watching or reading any of this. It's like taping a football game to watch later and somebody tells you the score. Wish they didn't publish spoilers.

No one delivers a cheating song quite like Carrie Underwood, as she proved once again on today's episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The country superstar made the TV debut of her hot-blooded new single, "Dirty Laundry" on the show, airing the secrets of an adulterer (and proving why guys really should pick up after themselves).
Penned by Zach Crowell, Ashley Gorley and Hillary Lindsey, the song starts with a woman finding her man's lipstick- and red wine-stained, cheap perfume-smelling shirt crumpled up in a corner. She doesn't wear that shade of pink and prefers Chardonnay to Cabernet, so he's busted. The tempo and temper soar as she declares, "All the Ajax in the world ain't gonna clean your dirty laundry."
Underwood delivered an impassioned, vocally flawless (per usual) performance of the new song on 'Ellen,' showing off that confident swagger that has led to countless accolades like this year's CMA Entertainer of the Year nod. But the beauty who can strut a stage like Mick Jagger found herself at a bit of a confidence loss during the interview segment.
Earlier in the show, comedic actor Seth Rogan played a new game with DeGeneres called "You Must Say," in which he could dictate any interview question for Underwood, who was on deck. His choice: Tell her they've heard she's great at the Chicken Dance and now's her chance to prove it. Watch below as she's baffled by the request and just barely complies.
Underwood has recently been named one of CMT's 2016 Artists of the Year. That show is set for October 20th in Nashville, followed just a few days later by the singer's ninth time co-hosting the CMA Awards with Brad Paisley.
