I respect your opinion. If that’s what she wants, then there are more tactful ways to do this. For example, informing the crowd as a whole that this song is meaningful to her and she’d appreciate if they had a seat and focused on the words. She’d have gotten a much better reaction.I saw her open for Kenny a few years ago and it was a month after she released Vice. She made a similar comment to the crowd, asking them to sit and really just listen to the words of the song. She’s a storyteller and deserves the respect and attention of the audience.
