#4 Gwen Stefani (with Blake Shelton) - "Nobody But You"
#6 Carly Pearce and Lee Brice - "I Hope You're Happy Now"
#10 Carrie Underwood - "Drinking Alone"
#11 Miranda Lambert - "Bluebird"
#17 Maddie & Tae - "Die From a Broken Heart"
#21 Ingrid Andress - "More Hearts Than Mine"
#23 Ashley McBryde - "One Night Standards"
#24 Reba McEntire & Hilary Scott (with Thomas Rhett) - "Be a Light"
#28 Gone West - "What Could've Been"
#35 Lauren Alaina (with Hardy) - "One Beer"
#39 Lauren Alaina - "Getting Good"
#46 Runaway June - "Head Over Heels"
*NEW* Tenille Arts - "Somebody Like That"

Notes and personal observations:
- Gabby, Gwen and Ingrid all hit #1 in previous weeks.
- M&T, Ashley McBryde seem to have a hit on their hands (I can see them reaching the Top 10 easily); Carly will probably hit #1
- RJ, with the departure of Hannah from the group, see their single falling now (which is sad because it was a great song)
- Gone West have been hanging on for many many weeks. I think it might remain on the chart for a few more weeks but probably won't go beyond #20
- Miranda will most likely hit #1 with "Bluebird". It's gained high praise from fans, critics and peers alike.

#4 Carly Pearce and Lee Brice - "I Hope You're Happy Now"
#9 Miranda Lambert - "Bluebird"
#10 Carrie Underwood - "Drinking Alone"
#17 Maddie & Tae - "Die From a Broken Heart"
#19 Reba McEntire & Hilary Scott (with Thomas Rhett) - "Be a Light"
#20 Ashley McBryde - "One Night Standards"
#26 Gone West - "What Could've Been"
#31 Lauren Alaina (with Hardy) - "One Beer"
#36 Lauren Alaina - "Getting Good"
#45 Tenille Arts - "Somebody Like That" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rX-S5dwsTVA)
*NEW* #48 Maren Morris - "To Hell and Back"
*NEW* #49 Lindsay Ell - "I Don't Love You" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0K-G0ig1p0g)

Notes and Observations:
- Ashley McBryde finally has her first Top 20 single! Worth celebrating.
- Gone West is surprisingly still hanging on and climbing up. Curious to see how far it goes.

Go Reba, Go!

Despite it being a Thomas Rhett single, I refer to it as Reba song, and will celebrate it as such, lol!

I'd say CN is having trouble keeping this one afloat much like LW. The callout, which got worse again this week, isn't helping.

^Considering this, I think they should consider doing a big push for top ten on billboard. Hopefully they do, whenever it is, and don’t just let it drop off

That's what they should do, but after seeing the Love Wins chart run I doubt that happens. They'll probably just keep "promoting" it as they have until radio is completely done with the song, then they'll drop it no matter where it is on the chart. If it gets top 10 it'll be because it just happened to get there, but I don't think UMG will do any pushing. Still think with the right strategy it could go top 5 on mediabase and top 10 on BB, but from the way they promoted all the Cry Pretty singles it doesn't look like they ever have a strategy or if they do it's too late to get the highest peak it can. I feel like even though the callouts are pretty bad, it could still have the steam in it to get that top 5 peak on MB, it actually went from being the next to last song on the score to now the fourth to last, so that is a positive for it. Even with bad callouts I can't help but forget last year Jake Owen's "Down to the Honkytonk" was dead last on the callouts (even below Love Wins) and yet his label was able to secure a #7 peak on BB with a big push. Carrie needs a label like that. I get Carrie is over 35, but her name, impact, and relevancy is 10x that of Jake Owen, so it should be possible for her too.

It'd be upsetting if they just pushed it until it collapses like they did with Love Wins, when we know they can do so much more. Cry Pretty was really struggling around #10 and about to collapse, so they did a big push and got it higher on both charts. Not sure why LW and DA might not get that treatment, especially if they both peak at 11, one space away from the top ten.

And yeah, I love that you mention that about Jake Owen's song. I was looking through old call out scores, and remember being really horrified when I saw there were a decent number of songs with worse numbers than LW that were able to make it higher, all from lesser artists.

10 CARRIE UNDERWOOD Drinking Alone 4679 4532 147 25.611

DA will move to #9 this afternoon with recurrents removed

Is there a reason for why its spins fluctuate so much? Like it goes from being negative to then having a jump back up to positive.

I had my local radio station playing for about 7 hours yesterday and on Monday for Memorial Day. Both days they played DA twice, and Southbound, Blown Away, and All-American Girl once each. I guess it’s a positive that I was hearing her pretty much the most in comparison to other people, but I want to hear her current single lol.

UMG will max "After A Few" this coming week to try to obtain #1 by next Sunday. Not sure how that will effect Drinking Alone, but thought it would be important to note. Also, look for Luke Bryan to pass Drinking Alone this week most likely as his song is surging. Happy at the very least this song will have a single digit mediabase peak after the chart is finalized later.

mostly syndicated shows, some nights they play it once or twice, some night not at all.
