Hate My Heart video

I don't want to sound picky but yeah, would have loved if the video didn't have the onstage scenes. Could have been Carrie and her friends speed dating other guys, working out, eating ice cream just to get over their exes. Would have been far different and more fun. Good video but was underwhelmed by the stage again. I think it's just the repetitiveness of that setting that's annoying. We already see Carrie with a mic everywhere. It would be great to see her without one.

I think the performance part adds to it because it's such a rockin' song. it doesn't matter what she does people will whine and complain. šŸ˜‚ At least she's not just walking on a beach singing for 3 min like Carly's last video. YAWN at that.

HAHAHAHA OMG! thas was unexpected! It was bad but at the same time very good. It was like watching a bad movie from the 2000s. The moment when Carrie (broken heart girl) was in the stage with Carrie the rockstaR!! hahahaha as I said like a bad movie of the 2000s. But dont get me wrong I love it. This video is going to be a Carrie classic!!

I want more videos with storylines!! Carrie songĀ“s are perfect for little "movie movies". I hope we have a video for She donĀ“t know that would be awesome.

And I have to say that this music video is going to help a lot HMH to become a hit.

^^ haha you got that rightā€¦. Well Iā€™ve never been really unhappy with any of her videosā€¦. all of the directors had their own visionary creativity.. Carrie seemed to have always liked themā€¦.

I was not too keen on the song at first, however, it grew on me and I like it way more with the video. I know, from some of the comments on here, that some of you don't care for the stage presence. Personally, it has Carrie and Carrie's thoughts written all over it. I like the references to previous songs and videos, love the workout (big part of her life) the big "Fall" (she admits she is clumsy), The way she and her friends go to a Carrie Underwood concert and some of them imagine they are playing in the band (I wonder how many fans do that( and the way superstar Carrie Underwood brings fan Carrie up on stage to sing with her (Carrie has had a lot of fans on stage with her). I love the way she crowd surfs ( she would probably like to do this but is advised not to). I love the way she winks and says she is a rock star at the end ( she loves rock---I wish she would do a rock album).. I love the video and the way it makes you smile. It is fun, funny and makes me feel happy. I think it will do well on radio.

Shaun Silva also directed the videos for Mama's Song and If I Didn't Love You. I thought this one turned out cute.

Does anyone think the prominent placement of Halo ice cream could be a nod to Crazy Angels as a future single?

I like the video also. It is Carrie!! Carrie throws out hints from time to time--and Halo could be a hint for Crazy Angels. I would not be upset if it was her next single. I like the beat...

i really want Burn as the third single, but since she is singing CA at the AMAs, maybe it will be?

I loved the video! She showed off a fun side of her personality that people donā€™t always get to see. It kinda reminds me of something Maddie and Tae would do, and i mean that as a compliment. The Woman You Got video comes to mind, as does Shut Up and Fish. Even Bathroom Floor. They are good at making fun and interesting videos for their more fun and upbeat songs. It feels like she took a page out of their playbook and iā€™m here for it!

Just watched the video (was at work when the video premiered) my favorite part is the nod to GG. Two Carrieā€™s; I love it.

There were other scenes in wasted.
Stream it people LOL
It was a joke. But sometimes a simple video is pretty great. Concert scenes are entirely over done at this point, luckily HMH has a extra scenes this time.

Thought I would share this with you guys. I asked Randee in a comment if she directed this video. She answered backā€¦ this might be way we liked it šŸ˜¬šŸ¤
The first sign this wasn't a RSN video was the lack of soft light in the teaser clip haha. I get that Carrie is comfortable with RSN, but that just means RSN doesn't push Carrie outside of her comfort zone so we end up getting the same type of MV each time.

Also, this video is giving big "delete Facebook, hit the gym, lawyer up" energy lol.

Overall one of my favorites of her recent videos. I thought the whole her going crazy over herself on stage was a little odd. I feel like she and the girls didnā€™t have to be performing at all. I felt like it could have just showed them jamming out and it would have been the same concept, but I canā€™t complain too much. Great scenes in this!
Also, when she gets on stage and mouths ā€œoh my goshā€, she reminds me of a younger version of herself. I think she mouths that somewhere else and I canā€™t think of where right now lol. Sheā€™s super cute in this!

She said it at her American Idol audition, at least thats were it reminded me of..

2:34 about her chicken thing
