5 days til the grand forks date. I just checked ticketmaster, it does look like they have sold some more this last week, but lots of tickets still remain. One of the sides of the pit is now sold out, so its getting better. I just have to wonder how much better it would look right now if they would have just been able to have it here in Fargo, other than the fair this past summer we haven’t had an A list country concert since before covid since they have all been going to grand forks. Its only an hour away, but i think it makes a big difference when a show is on a weeknight as opposed to a friday or a saturday, and probably even sunday. I do think the concert will still happen, i believe if they were gonna cancel it they would have pulled the trigger by now. But i’m gonna remain stressed about that right up until thursday.
Hopefully people buy at the door!!

^ 100% with on everything especially the traffic!! It moved at a snail crawl. ugh

I was able to see Reflection back in May and my big takeaway is how much Carrie has grown as an entertainer since the CP tour. Just leaps and bounds. She so much more comfortable and engaging on stage now.

SDK with most of its intro story
When she had wine I was think I want wine to girl and I don’t see any wine I love wine

^^^^^^^^^Thanks smoky. THAT is the kind of review I like. The journalist captured Carrie's performance and the way she gives it her all in everything she does. I am not holding my breath for this---however---if she does not get ETOTY this time I will never go to another country artist's concert and buy their albums (her peers also vote on this award and it is pretty obvious that most of them won't vote for her even if she has earned it over everyone). I am fed up with the country " FAMILY" sticking togetherness (as some call it). They have been throwing Carrie under the bus and have been doing it all her career. I am also sick of the block voting. We have been complaining about it all these years and it still goes on. Bah humbug on the lettuce and tomato thing. My little sister said "Remember that tomatoes last longer than lettuce and has a better flavor" LOL Rant over!!

I boycotted the country genre and artists a few years ago because of this reason

Allstate Arena

Rosemont, IL

Review and photos by Andy Argyrakis

The title behind Carrie Underwood’s newest album and tour of the same name, Denim & Rhinestones, couldn’t be more fitting for the country and pop megastar, representing both a rougher side that’s never afraid to rock but also one evoking the glamour and downright glorious vocals worthy of crowning her an American Idol in 2005. Both were on display in equal doses at an unsurprisingly packed Allstate Arena where the A-lister thrilled, dazzled, and delivered for two hours, stuffed with previous smashes that cumulatively sold 66 million copies and current cuts reclaiming her place atop multiple charts.

As a slick band let loose with the assertive introduction to “Good Girl,” Underwood popped up from below on a hydraulic lift, flashing a million-dollar smile, trendsetting fashions, and most importantly, priceless pipes. Come “Church Bells,” she got a bit closer to fans, who outstretched their arms and phones, a frequent trend that only escalated every moment she strutted further down the runway.

Underwood was a force of nature throughout “Cowboy Casanova,” but kept right on climbing and conquering the challenging “Wasted,” “Blown Away,” “Burn” (complete with a string of actual flames), and “Cry Pretty” as a jumbo screen broadcasted all the glitzy presentations to the upper bowls. However, no seat seemed far when she rode a swing above the audience to the back for the monster ballad, “Ghost Story,” soaring through each towering crescendo and tapping into the essence of Halloween as it creeps up around the corner.

She soon explored the spirituality of the heavenly kind with not only her own calling card, “Jesus, Take The Wheel,” but subsequently dusted off the traditional hymn, “How Great Thou Art,” to truly divine results. Carrie resumed kicking up some serious dust with “Crazy Angels” as she flew to the front with giant wings guiding the way and picked up additional steam via the danceable title track with opener Jimmie Allen, accented by no less than six sparkling disco balls.

Yet it arguably peaked with the double-decker finale of Guns N’ Roses’ “Welcome To The Jungle,” destined to earn a stamp of approval from occasional collaborator Axl Rose, plus “Before He Cheats,” a modern classic on its own accord. No official encore was needed as the unparalleled entertainer constantly sang her guts out to a series of heartfelt, relatable, and uplifting messages that helped propel the more than 100 major award-winner to possibly become the paramount voice of this century so far.

I think the fact that she is not friends with any of the other relevant country artist hurts her too. If they have to choose between a friend and a colleague, they will always choose the friend. see how everytime Carrie releases an album basically no one tweets about it or congratulates her.

They aren't going to cancel a show just because it didn't sell well. Try not to worry about things you can't control. It just causes stress.

Concert review: Carrie Underwood embraces her inner Axl Rose at wild Target Center show

Carrie Underwood rocked Target Center on Tuesday night.
If that sounds like a trite observation, well, usually I’d agree with you. While the 39-year-old “American Idol” champ has always leaned heavily into pop and rock for her energetic, big-production shows, Underwood truly embraced her inner rock star Tuesday.
That’s not just because she offered an enthusiastic take on Guns N’ Roses’ “Welcome to the Jungle” near the end of the show. (In April, she invited Axl Rose to join her onstage at the Stagecoach festival for a pair of GNR classics and called it “the greatest night of my life.”) She injected rock energy at every turn, starting with Motorhead’s “Ace of Spades,” which blasted over the loudspeakers before she began her set.
She opened with a supercharged “Good Girl” followed by a rafters-rattling “Church Bells” and a massive “Undo It,” which ended with an audience singalong. And from there, she kept the pace brisk — yet still worked in multiple outfit changes — and the songs booming, whether they were her many chart toppers or lesser-known tracks from her ninth album “Denim and Rhinestones,” which she released back in June.

Before “She Don’t Know,” she emerged from a trap door in the stage clutching a glass of red wine and telling the crowd “in case you didn’t know, you are at a country music concert … we are so country up here, we’ve got two fiddlers.” During “Blown Away,” her strong, pure vocals cut through a whole lot of stage production. (Prior to her current tour, she played an extended residency in Las Vegas and clearly picked up a few new tips for razzle and dazzle in the process.)
“Cry Pretty” felt like an overblown GNR power ballad that wrapped with pyro. Underwood followed that by riding a trapeze swing that drifted over the heads of the general admission crowd on the floor and landed at a satellite stage on the other side of the arena. She strapped on a guitar and ran through “Two Black Cadillacs,” “Garden” and one of her signature songs, “Jesus, Take the Wheel.”
In order to get back to the main stage, Underwood climbed into a floating gyroscope-style metal globe with pink and blue neon wings and crooned “Crazy Angels.” Then she invited her opening act Jimmie Allen to join her for the title track of her new album, a relatively rare (for her, anyway) midtempo jam.
If all of that wasn’t enough, during “Poor Everybody Else,” she parked herself behind a drum kit and banged away. Never stop rocking, Carrie.
