ARTISTS who depend on external structures to provide CONTINUITY and STABILITY of their career run the VERY REAL RISK of having their moorings ripped away. The only truly reliable source of stability is a STRONG INNER CORE and the WILLINGNESS TO CHANGE AND PROGRESS AND ADAPT EVERYTHING, EXCEPT THE CORE, WITH THE CHANGING MUSIC ENVIRONMENT. Artists can not reliably predict where they are going and how their career will unfold - NEW ARTISTS WILL EMERGE, MUSIC MARKET ENVIRONMENT WILL CHANGE, *FADS WILL COME AND GO* ...... HISTORY SPEAKS VOLUMES!!! But, "Carrie Underwood" ENDURES!!! Carrie understood that it is better to understand WHO YOU ARE than where you are going - for where you are going will almost certainly change. And why on earth would Carrie settle for creating SOMETHING MEDIOCRE that "does little more than making money" - when Carrie can CREATE SOMETHING OUTSTANDING that is ENDURING and SUBSTANTIAL like what Carrie is doing right now as an EXTRAORDINARY VERSATILE ARTIST. And in the end, those who are EXTRAORDINARY VERSATILE ARTISTS like Carrie CAN MAKE MORE MONEY, *OVER THE LONG RUN*.

Another GREAT ONE from Carrie is that - CARRIE BUILT AN OUTSTANDING ORGANIZATION, "TEAM CARRIE". The concept of building the CHARACTERISTIC OF AN OUTSTANDING ORGANIZATION, where she produced a CONDUCIVE ENVIRONMENT and GREAT PEOPLE WORKING TOGETHER IN COMMON CAUSE - that the bulk of the world's best work gets done is ALSO very important. Carrie's KEY framework concept, preserving the core and stimulating change and progress is also INCREASINGLY IMPORTANT - We witnessed that early on in her career, the songs "Jesus Take The Wheel" and "Before He Cheats" and the BASIC BELIEFS AND BASIC PHILOSOPHY that she used "BEHIND THE SCENES", learning the CRAFT from "Kenny Chesney", "Brad Paisley", "Rascal Flatts", "Keith Urban", "Vince Gill", *etc.*...... *EVOLUTION* from the PERSPECTIVE of Darwinian Revolution that Carrie used. Carrie MIMIC THE EVOLUTION OF WELL-ADAPTED SPECIES - those that try a lot of stuff and keep what works - will have better odds of survival in a CHANGING MUSIC MARKET ENVIRONMENT. Others who do not, WILL LIKELY BECOME EXTINCT. You will need to continually renew yourself in order TO REMAIN EXCITING and will need to relentlessly push yourself for SELF-STIMULATED CHANGE AND IMPROVEMENT.
