"Before He Cheats", on the Keep It Country TV Channel - good to see, because her work hasn't seemed to get the level of exposure over here that I think it deserves. (I think one reason for that may be that there is no dedicated radio medium here to highlight the current hit career she gets in North America, and it's probably fair to say that her work often falls between two stools, in terms of the audience appeal that broadcasters are aiming at)
This is the only full time Country channel in Europe, available on satellite. The segment she was played in was The Country Wildcats Show, where she was described as a featured artist, and introduced with a little summary, describing her "amazing voice and attitude to match". BHC fitted well into the focus of the rest of the show, which largely avoided current Mainstream chart material (though it's perhaps a little ironic that the famous video, where she walks with steady menace through the crowded Printers Alley dive scene in Downtown Nashville, features the sort of venue she's said in interview she wouldn't have sung in!) The other artists featured on the show included Dwight Yoakam, Sheryl Crow, Johnny Cash, Ashton Shepherd and the Dixie Chicks - and although I can easily place Carrie in that company, I don't get the impression that it's quite the way most fans or broadcasters normally think of her at home. But I found it an interesting inclusion.
