Very nice sales number for BA!

BA sold 16,079 last week, so this week should be a very healthy % gain. :)

One quick look at this chart reveals very few country albums. Many of the newer releases have already dropped off the chart.

Lets not count on anything yet cuz you can never compare to previous weeks etc, because we never know what has been included in that first number week to week - they mix it up. For all we know they have put most all the country in the first number. They do that to keep people guessing. But of course so hoping it is really a big increase as it would appear on the surface.

The fact that she is still selling over 10k three and a half months after the release is impressive in today's music world.
She could get a boost in September when the CMA nominations are announced, and again in November for the actual award show. Plus, she has a few other things lined up that could help boost sales.

The Now albums sure is one of the best ideas ever.

People sure were in a album buying mood last week.

I think they were great pre-iTunes, but now I find them kinda pointless.

I mean, why not buy what you want, individually? I highly doubt everyone is dying to have EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THOSE SONGS. But they have decent sales, so I guess they're doing something right.

Very nice numbers-- but I agree with Pam that this was a country heavy update, clearly....so the next update won't be as favorable.

Still-- she may have sold like 18k or so....which is very good. Any increase at all makes me feel better. lol

Nice numbers. Can't wait for the Christmas season, though. ;)

If this keeps up, 1 million sold by the end of the year is totally doable. :)

The POWER of "VERY INFECTIOUS ANTHEM SONG" - "Blown Away"!!! MONSTER hit!!! PUSH, PUSH, PUSH to mainstream pop/rock radio air wave when it reached NUMBER ONE IN COUNTRY RADIO CHARTS, "without remixing the song". I am very excited about the sales after "CMA Awards Show and Black Friday and Christmas Holiday SHOPPING Season".

Seriously, I would pay to have you as a coach while I workout.

Talk about a pep talk!

ha ha me too! I can hear him saying "push push" when you are ready to give up. It would be great-- like a personal trainer or life coach. :)

I kind of figured that almost all of country was in to be that high at 54% but still great numbers. So far just a -3% drop.

^ But I still think of it as an increase, even if not technically, because she was dropping each week and was at 13,000. At least this went up to the 16k mark and is still there again this week.
