Yes, the era ended basically after the album's first week, as "End Game" also stalled soon after that, despite it featuring both Lord Ed Sheeran MBE and Future.

I think the music just isn't nearly as good as the ones she's put out in the past, people are turned off by her "bad *****" persona, she didn't perform live on television enough, female artists have struggled on the charts lately, the videos after "Look What You Made Me Do" not inspiring much interests, the hype for the first full-pop era was over, she was never an established radio staple on pop, and probably Katy Perry placed a curse on her.

Really hated the whole vibe and image she tried to project this era - from that long album note to fans to the greedy idea of Taylor Swift fan tickets for her tour. It felt like the fame and success of 1989 went to her head. On top of that, there was no streaming, killed my curiousity within the first week. When I got to hear it, I only liked Delicate from the album.

And is her girl squad thing still ongoing?

From what I’ve read in the rag mags she’s going thru a rough patch with any remaining members of her squad for sure!

Maybe some new music will be a little more thoughtful and honest about the person inside. As so many have believed her ability to tap into her own thoughts I have mostly found it thin and trivial without any true authenticity or humility.

Taylor Swift's Reputation tour starts next month in Phoenix, and the "End Game" singer has already broken a record, a week before her first concert.

Swift's first show at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, on May 8 will surpass One Direction's visit in 2014, which drew 56,524 fans.

"The frenzy continues to grow as Taylor Swift has already broken the University of Phoenix Stadium's concert attendance record, which was previously held by One Direction in 2014 with 56,524 fans," he tells Billboard. "With 11 days left before the show, Swift has already surpassed [One Direction's] attendance number."

She is talented so i am happy that she is as successful as she is. However I sometimes wonder why she is as popular as she is. She is an OK singer and a good songwriter but most of her songs are not master pieces in particular this era,there is not one song that I like.

She has built up a lot of loyalty with fans over the years - the reward of all her fan interaction efforts and treating them like "close friends" where she shares part of her life with them. Her personal and relatable lyrics (before this era) definitely helped too.
