746k is a great number so far. So glad this song has resonated with people......
Are radio programmers considered people? Hmmm

Actually, it's Garth... Like, what?!?

I believe RIAA certification only counts album sales (no streaming). With another 12k or so, the album sales total is up to 232k. Could be certified Gold in a week or two.
Are radio programmers considered people? Hmmm
But RIAA counts shipments not actual sales. It surely shipped well over 250k long ago. It should have been certified gold on January 9. They must not have applied yet.

That's great. With the state of cd sale the way they are, I think this album is doing amazing. Especially considering its music that most country fans who are interested in CU already have.
Cool. She should ship Platinum by the Fall hopefully, for Xmas sales, just in time for the new album.
So true, last year only 4 albums sold over 1 million copies. The two biggest albums in the country genre right now Eric and Jason, are still below that. I'm really interested in how Luke does because I think his numbers will give us a good idea of what's the new sales expectations for country artists.
Sorry to be a downer but I doubt it. There's very little album space in stores these days, so even though she's still selling, she'll likely be squeezed out by all the new album releases coming out.
